Aurerest started with a migraine.
Specifically, the kind that keeps you up at 3am with pressure behind your eyes so intense you can’t tell where the pain ends and the sleeplessness begins.
We tried everything. Blackout curtains. Eye masks that slipped off by 2am. Cold compresses. Prescription medication. Nothing worked consistently.
What we kept coming back to was the strange relief of gentle pressure on the eyes and temples. The kind you instinctively do yourself — pressing your palms over your eyes when a headache starts. That sensation.
We spent a year figuring out how to make that feeling wearable. How to distribute weight evenly without discomfort. How to block light completely without pressing on the lids. How to build something that felt good enough to sleep in, not just wear for 10 minutes.
The Veil is what we made.
It’s designed for migraine sufferers. For people with high-stress jobs who can’t turn their brains off. For anyone who knows that real rest — deep, uninterrupted, restorative rest — is one of the most important things they can give themselves.
